T'was the search before Christmas, the SAR Dogs were ready
To help where they could, it was snowing steady.
The weather was cold on that Christmas Eve night,
But everyone came to do what was right.
With their coats and their hats, the team came together,
Their SAR Dogs beside them, in spite of the weather.
But no one was lost, and what the team saw
Was Hunter, in a Christmas cap, and a gift in each paw.
He thanked everyone for a wonderful year
And each team member scratched him behind both his ears.
